Here's my WHY!

Why did you start the Robinson Family Childcare? Great question. As a working parent, I soon realized that the proverb: "It takes a village to raise a child" was so true. The first time my husband and I decided to go out after coming home from the hospital was stressful. I thought, "who do I trust that will nurture my child like their own?...Someone that won't get frustrated after 5 minutes of crying?" I decided upon a close friend named Denise. We came back from our date and she said it was a breeze. I knew at that moment how blessed I am to have a strong village of people that are kind and loving child advocates that I trust. I realized that not everyone has an "Auntie Denise" and I wanted to be the "Aunt Irma" for all the hardworking people looking to have the peace of mind that I felt that night and that they deserve as parents. My goal is to create a place that is a home away from home. A place where parents can feel comfortable dropping off their most precious angels. Providing a stable, safe and loving environment is my promise. It warms my heart to see the same families year after year as their family grows. Some call childcare work. I call it my passion. It gives me great honor that families have welcomed me into their lives. ​
